1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup molasses
4 eggs
Nutmeg
1/2 pounds currants
1/2 pound
golden raisins
1/4 pound dried cherries
1 teaspoon cassia (bought
in drugstore)
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon baking soda
4 cups flour
Cream butter and brown
sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Bake
at 325 degrees.
